This Privacy Policy explains how Salom Law ("Salom Law," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.salomlaw.com (the "Site"), contact us, or use any of our services or communications (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes the rights and choices available to you regarding your personal information.

By accessing or using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Transaction & service data — details about services you request, consultations, and correspondence with us.
  • Payment data — billing information processed securely through our third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
  • User content — reviews, survey responses, messages, and any other information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

  • Cookies & similar technologies — see Section 4.
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address.

Information from third parties

  • Analytics providers, service partners, and publicly available sources, used to operate, secure, and improve our Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Site and Services;
  • To respond to inquiries, evaluate potential matters, schedule consultations, and provide client service;
  • To perform conflict-of-interest checks before considering whether we can represent you;
  • To process transactions and send related information such as invoices and statements;
  • To send administrative and informational communications, including newsletters you have requested (you may opt out at any time);

  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and professional-responsibility obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers / processors — vendors who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email, practice management, form processing, and spam/bot protection), bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Analytics partners — to measure and improve the performance of the Site. Under certain state laws, the use of cross-context behavioral advertising cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; see Section 5 to opt out.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Salom Law, our clients, or the public. Information covered by the attorney-client privilege or the duty of confidentiality is disclosed only as permitted or required by the applicable rules of professional conduct.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the practice, subject to this Policy and applicable ethics rules.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. See our Cookie Policy for full details, categories, and your opt-out choices. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by law.

6. California Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides additional rights described in Section 5. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 for the purposes described in Section 2. We do not sell personal information for monetary value and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing include your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. 8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal, accounting, professional-responsibility, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client files and matter records are retained in accordance with applicable file-retention rules and our engagement agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or destroy it.

9. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. 12. No Attorney-Client Relationship; Confidentiality of Submissions

Submitting information through this Site — including a contact form, chat widget, or case-evaluation request — does not create an attorney-client relationship and is not protected by attorney-client privilege unless and until we have agreed to represent you in a signed engagement letter. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through this Site until an attorney-client relationship has been formally established.

Unsolicited information you send may not be treated as confidential and does not prevent us from representing another client whose interests are adverse to yours.

If you opt in to receive text messages from us, you consent to receive transactional and/or informational messages at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any engagement.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
